Zac Brewer, formerly Heather Brewer (born September 21, 1973), is an American writer of young adult fiction, living in Missouri with his husband and two children.[3][4] His debut series, The Chronicles of Vladimir Tod, was published by Dutton Juvenile. In 2015, Brewer changed his name from Heather to Zac and announced that he is transgender. He is currently physically transitioning and legally known as Zachary Oliver Brewer.[5] He goes by Z among his fans and social media followers.[6]
