Heart Extra is a national digital radio station owned and operated by Global Radio as part of the Heart network
On 2 February 2016 Global announced that Heart Extra will be launching on 29 February. The line-up will include Jenni Falconer, Mark Wright and Jason Donovan. The station will feature some of sister station Heart’s presenters including Jamie Theakston and Emma Bunton.
The station broadcasts from studios at Leicester Square in London.
From 12 November to 27 December 2016, Heart Extra will be rebranded as "Heart Extra Xmas".
