Hana Mae Lee is an American actress, model, comedian, and fashion designer.[1][2] She is best known for playing Lilly Okanakurama in the 2012 film Pitch Perfect and its sequel Pitch Perfect 2 (2015). She also owns her own fashion line titled Hanamahn.[3]

Life and career

Lee, who is of Korean and Japanese ancestry, was born in Southern California, and graduated from Otis College of Art and Design. She was 16 when she started modeling. Lee has appeared in campaigns for Honda, Jeep, Apple Inc., Nokia, Sebastian, American Express, HP, Cherry Coke and Midori. She has appeared in the magazines TIME, SOMA, Elle, and Teen Vogue.

Lee attended Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles, California, from where she received her BFA. Later she designed for Harley-Davidson, Juicy Couture, and Mossimo.

In 2011, Lee made her TV debut guest starring on Mike & Molly, followed by an appearance on Workaholics. She appeared as Lilly Okanakamura in Pitch Perfect, for which she was nominated for a "scene stealer" award at the Teen Choice Awards in 2013.[2] Lee reprised her role in Pitch Perfect 2 (2015).
