Han In Sang

This is a Korean name; the family name is Han.

Han In Sang (born 10 December 1939) was a general authority of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) from 1991 to 1996. Han was the first Korean Latter-day Saint to become an LDS Church general authority.

Han was born in Seoul. In 1957, Han was baptized a member of the LDS Church. He was ordained an elder in the church by Gordon B. Hinckley, who was then an Assistant to the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. Han was the first native Korean to serve as a Mormon missionary in Korea. Later, he was the first regional representative in Korea and the first native Korean mission president to oversee a church mission in Korea. Han also translated the Book of Mormon into Korean.

In 1991, Han was called as a general authority and member of the Second Quorum of the Seventy. Han served in this capacity until October 1996 when he was honorably released. He then became president of the Seoul Korea Temple.

Han is married to Lee Kyn In and they are the parents of two daughters and three sons.
