Haereta cryphimaea

Haereta cryphimaea is a moth in the Depressariidae family. It was described by Turner in 1947. It is found in Australia, where it has been recorded from Queensland.^[1]

The wingspan is 15–19 mm. The forewings are brown with the stigmata blackish, the first discal at one-fourth, the plical beyond it, the second discal at three-fifths, transversely elongate or double. There is a subcostal series of minute dots from two-thirds, curved in the disc to the end on the dorsum before the tornus and there is a terminal series of dots. The hindwings are whitish with slight grey suffusion towards the apex.^[2]
