Habito is a digital mortgage broker service based in London. The company was founded in January 2015 and registered as Hey Habito Ltd.[1]

History

Habito was founded by incumbent CEO Daniel Hegarty who serves as a Director alongside two other directors; investor Toby Coppel and mortgage broker Patrick Usher.[2]

The disruptive online service offering mortgage search and comparison was launched in April 2016[3] after a seed funding round and uses over 100 mortgage lenders.[4] Backers included prominent Financial technology figures TransferWise CEO Taavet Hinrikus, Funding Circle CEO Samir Desai, and Yuri Milner of DST Global.[5]
