Habang Kapiling Ka (While I'm With You) is a Philippine primetime soap opera of GMA Network. The series was led by drama actress Angelika dela Cruz fresh from the success of her top-rating primetime drama series Ikaw Lang Ang Mamahalin.

The powerhouse cast includes Albert Martinez, Snooky Serna, Tonton Gutierrez, Ruffa Gutierrez, Alma Moreno, Chin Chin Gutierrez, Zoren Legaspi, Amy Perez and Victor Neri. This series marked the career beginnings of TV host-actress Toni Gonzaga, Chynna Ortaleza and Richard Gutierrez. It became the first TV drama premiered under the Kapuso banner after releasing GMA Network's current official heart logo a week ago. The series was successfully shown in Malaysia and Singapore via TV3. In 2008-2009, it was re-aired on GMA Life TV.

Synopsis

Habang Kapiling Ka initially plunges us into the world of three young people — Erica (Angelika dela Cruz), Emilie (Toni Gonzaga), and Pierre Paolo (Railey Valeroso) — whose lives become necessarily intertwined by fate and a moment’s decision during a stormy night.

On one level, this is the story of women, mothers, daughters, lovers who are out to get the best in the world for the people they love.

It is also the story of fathers, sons and brothers, who must come to terms with each other and accept the animosity and conflict that brews in their relationships.

Olivia Malvaroza (Snooky Serna) gives birth to an apparently stillborn child. In the other room, Paulina (one of Olivia’s servants) dies after giving birth to Pierre Paolo. Paulina’s sister, Salve Capistrano (Alma Moreno), upon seeing a boy destined to grow up without a mother, and a mother who will be devastated with the death of her child, only had a split second to make her decision. With only the best interest in mind, Salve switches the children, assuring Pierre Paolo of the sure, easy life of the Malvarozas. What she did not expect is that Olivia’s child Erica is still alive and that Paulina carries a second child, a baby girl (Emilie), in her womb. Later, they will learn of Marius Malvaroza’s (Tonton Gutierrez) death in a plane crash who had been hurrying to be with his wife.

Unknown to them, Marius is still alive but kept prisoner by the possessive Medea (Camille Roxas), with whom he will have a son. Meanwhile, Alejandro Javellana (Albert Martinez) will usurp everything that Marius had: his business, his hacienda, even his wife and son.

Erica and Emilie both create a bond with Pierre Paolo, but it is Emilie who forms an unexplainable attachment to the boy, not knowing that they are twins. The idyll of childhood is broken when Pierre Paolo is sent abroad to study and Erica and Emilie have to face the harsh realities of the working class. Even so, these young people will find their way to each other again. Erica will cross paths with Julius Javellana (Victor Neri), Alejandro’s half-brother, and they will find themselves drawn to each other more and more. At the same time, Emilie and Pierre Paolo will realize that time has not broken the bond between them, and they will grow an even understanding of each other. But coming together will not easy for any of them, as complications will arise from their entanglements.

Railey Valeroso Pierre Paolo Capistrano - Bravo Emilie's real twin brother who will first fall in love with Erica but soon found out that he has a different feeling for Donna.
Chin Chin Gutierrez Helga Lamermoore The mother of Donna who is madly in love with Alejandro. She is willing to do everything just to be in Olivia's place.
Ruffa Gutierrez Venus Paraiso Helga's beautiful sister who will take care of Donna when Helga abandoned them. She will be Alejandro's lust and Jonas' love.
Alma Moreno Salve Capistrano Olivia's long-time friend and the reason behind the switching of the two babies.
Zoren Legaspi Jonas Capistrano Salve's nephew and the protector of Emilie and Erica. He will fall for the beautiful Venus.
Amy Perez Divine Ogata The woman who helped Marius to rise and will help him in his revenge against Alejandro. But when she found out that he still in love with Olivia, she uses Erica to get him back.
Yul Servo Nonoy Bautista The man who fell madly in love with Erica. He is also Emilie's secret past. He will do anything just to get Erica's love.
Jaime Fabregas Fausto Bravo The real father of Emilie and Pierre Paolo who will help Marius in his revenge.
Aleck Bovick Liway The sexy woman who was hired by Divine to spy on Olivia's family and will fall in love with Jonas.
Tootsie Guevara Bunny Bravo The singing superstar who is adored by Emelie. She will do anything to keep her position.

Theme song

Kahit Na was used as the series' theme song. It was composed by Willie Cruz and originally sung by Zsa Zsa Padilla; Joey Albert was chosen to sing the theme song for the series. However, Angelika dela Cruz, Toni Gonzaga and Tootsie Guevara performed the song during the promotion of the TV series.

The song Kahit Na was also covered by Anja Aguilar for the theme song of 2016 TV5 primetime drama Bakit Manipis ang Ulap?.
