HMP Grampian

The new HMP & YOI Grampian is a prison built in Peterhead to replace the now no-longer operating HMPs in Aberdeen and Peterhead. It will be the first Scottish prison with both adults and young offenders of both sexes.[1]

It began admitting inmates on 3 March 2014 and is expected to hold approximately 500 prisoners.[2]
