GOPES helicopter

The Grupo de Operaciones Especiales (Special Operations Group, GOPES) are the operative tactical group of the Federal Police of Mexico.

Specialization

Their mission is to carry out a variety of operations such as:

• Hostage rescue
• Apprehension of highly dangerous criminals

• counter-terrorism
• Fight organized crime

It has 87 members, divided into groups of 8 to 12 operators.
