Greg Hart is an English guitarist who is co-founder member of the UK power pop rock band CATS in SPACE,[1][2][3] established May 2015 with drummer/percussionist Steevi Bacon, and songwriting partner Mick Wilson.

Year 1980-1985 Hart started his musical career in local Sussex bands Maxoom, Icemon & Snowblind – no releases 1986 Co-formed London rock band MORITZ, released one 12” EP in 1987 ‘Shadows of a Dream’ (RFB Recordings) split 1988. 1989 Helped form female fronted AOR band IF ONLY, with management team comprising Harry Cowell (‘Raiding the Rock Vault- Las Vegas) & Simon Napier-Bell (Wham, T.Rex, Japan) Featuring JACKIE BODIMEAD (Girlschool) Released one LP in 1992 ‘No Bed Of Roses’ (CZAR records) produced by Geoff Downes (Asia, The Buggles) band split in late 1992 1992 Co-wrote for the Asia ‘Aqua’ album with GEOFF DOWNES including feature film ‘FREDDIE FRO7’ lead song ‘Lay Down Your Arms’. Several tracks resurfaced on ASIA compilation albums ‘ARCHIVA I’ & ‘ARCHIVA II’ (1994) Guested with Virgin Records MIKE OLDFIELD (Tubular Bells) on German promotional tour 1992-1994 songwriting at Rondor publishers with - BEN ROBBINS (Cliff Richard) PETER SINFIELD (King Crimson) CHRIS THOMPSON (Manfred Mann’s Earth Band) GEORGE McFARLANE & SAM BLUE – (Ya Ya, The Quick) MIKE MORAN (Queen, Freddie Mercury, Heart, Europe, Survivor ) ANNABELL LAMB & JON SWEET (Cliff Richard) BOB MITCHELL (Cheap Trick) – the song ‘I Remember’ recorded by Donna Summer 1995 formed AOR band ‘GTS’, recorded two LPs ‘Tracks from the Dust shelf’ 1995 (GT Records) ‘Time Stood Still’ 1996 (GT Records) 2007 reformed MORITZ for tour and album releases, Hart then left band in 2015 to form Cats In Space. 2015 co-formed CATS in SPACE with drummer Steevi Bacon (Robin Trower band), and song writing partner MICK WILSON (10CC). Released the debut rock album ‘Too Many Gods’ (Harmony Factory 006). Featuring the lead single ‘MR HEARTACHE with guest appearance from Andy Scott of The Sweet. Featuring Dean Howard (T’Pau, IAN GILLAN, BAD COMPANY), JEFF BROWN (Statetrooper, The Sweet). Paul Manzi (Arena, Oliver Wakeman, Gordon Giltrap).
