Great Synagogue of Algiers in 1902

The Great Synagogue of Algiers was a synagogue in Algiers.

On December 11, 1960, the synagogue was attacked by an Arab mob which desecrated the Torah scrolls and prayer books.

In 1962, the synagogue was converted into the Abu Farès Mosque.[1]
