Grand Central Hotel (Las Vegas)

The Grand Central Hotel is a proposed building as of 2008. It was to be a 61-story, 2,500-room hotel and casino to be located in Downtown Las Vegas, Nevada near Symphony Park. It is being developed by the Merrill Group and developer Craig Katchen and still awaits city approval.[1]

If built, the Grand Central would be the fourth-tallest building in the Las Vegas Valley at 700 ft (210 m)[2] behind the Stratosphere, World Jewelry Center and the Fontainebleau Resort Las Vegas.

The resort would be situated on the northeast corner of Charleston Boulevard and Grand Central Parkway[1] and aimed at drawing customers from the World Market Center.

The project would also include 11,100 sq ft (1,030 m2) of retail and a 260,000 sq ft (24,000 m2) convention center.
