Gorinta is an Indian village in Peddapuram Mandal in East Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh.This Village is located on the road linking Samalkot to prathipadu.

Gorinta is also the leaf name of Lawsonia inermis in Telugu.

It is noted for its Kanaka Durga, Thallamma, Swamy Ayappa, Pedda Ramalayam and Vinayaka temples. The sarpanch of Gorinta is Karri Veera Raghavalu Garu. There is talk among people that Gorinta village is being developed under the ruling of Karri Veera Raghavalu Garu.

People & Culture: Agriculture is main profession here and rice, sugar cane and moong dal are main cultivations. The major festivals like Sankranthi, Deepavali and Vijayadashami are celebrated
