Good Company (company)

Good Company is a US production company founded by Jonathan Lia, Brian Welsh and Ryan Heiferman. The company has produced content of all forms, including commercials, music videos, films, and experiential.[1]

Good Company started 2012 with Kanye West and Jay-Z’s “Ni**as in Paris” video, which was nominated for two VMA Awards, Best Video and Best Director.[2][3] Later that year they also produced Kanye West’s “Cruel Summer” 7-screen film, which premiered in Cannes in May but has yet to be officially released.[4]

Good Company’s headquarters are located in New York with a satellite office in Los Angeles.

Prior to forming Good Company, its founders compiled two D&AD awards,[5] two Grammy nominations,[6] one VMA winner,[7] and nominations and honors from VMA, Much Music, and National Board of Review. Jonathan Lia co-directed the Saturday Night Live hit "I'm On A Boat," and was nominated for a Grammy for producing Depeche Mode's "Wrong" Video.[8] Fellow co-founder Brian Welsh received a Latin Grammy nomination for producing Mana's "Lluvia al Corazon", which also won an MTV VMA. As independent producers, they produced commercials and music videos for Adidas, Toyota, Swatch, Beyonce, Madonna, Timbaland, Bjork and U2.[9]
