Gladwin High School is a public high school located at 1400 N Spring St in Gladwin, Michigan. It is one of two public schools serving Gladwin County along with Beaverton High School. The school colors are royal blue and white, and the school mascot is the Flying G.

Academics

Gladwin offers unique courses, such as a Marketing and Retail program in which students run their own store within the school called The Nest.[2] Another class is the choir classes, which include a mixed ensemble,a women's group and a men's group, which has often received high marks of superior and excellent at MSVMA choral festivals. The school also has a Publications class which comes out with a school newspaper called Sparks.

Athletics

The school competes in the Jack Pine Conference for most of the schools sports. The soccer teams compete in the Northern Michigan Soccer League, while the hockey team competes in the Northern Michigan Hockey League. Gladwin fields a total of 20 boys, girls, and coed teams. Gladwin athletes also compete on a hockey team called the Mid-Michigan Storm, which is a cooperative program with Gladwin High School, Ogemaw Heights High School, Beaverton High School, and Harrison High School. The Storm plays their home games at the Gladwin Community Arena.[3]
