George Truefitt

George Truefitt was a Scottish architect. He was born in 1824 and died in 1902.[1] He learned how to be an architect under Lewis Cottingham. [2]

Career

He is famous for erecting over 25 different building throughout England. [1] He additionally worked in 15 different countries. [1] In his career he designed over 250 structures. [2] He wrote a number of books including, Designs for Country Churches. [1]

He retired in 1899 and passed away 3 years later. [1] He inspired Calvert Vaux in his designs. [3]
