George E. Saddington (birth registered April→June 1905 — death unknown) born in Sculcoates district,[1] was an English professional rugby league footballer of the 1930s, playing at representative level for England, and Rugby League XIII, and at club level for Hull Kingston Rovers, and York, as a Second-row, i.e. number 11 or 12, during the era of contested scrums.[2]

International honours

George Saddington represented Rugby League XIII in 1934 against France, and won caps for England while at Hull Kingston Rovers in 1934 against Australia, and while at York in 1934 against France.[3]
