Garvin James Alston (born December 8, 1971 in Mount Vernon, New York, United States) is a retired American Major League Baseball right-handed pitcher. He is an alumnus of Florida International University in Miami, Florida.

Drafted by the Colorado Rockies in the 10th round of the 1992 MLB amateur draft, Alston made his Major League Baseball debut with the Colorado Rockies on June 6, 1996, and appeared in his final game on June 18, 1996.

During the 2015-16 offseason, the Diamondbacks hired Alston as their bullpen coach.[1]
