Garnett Sue Stokes (born December 20, 1955 in Washington, D.C.) is the Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost of the University of Missouri. She previously served as the Dean of the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences for seven years at the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia. After Eric J. Barron's resignation, she served as interim President of Florida State University until John E. Thrasher took office.
