Gabriel Chavarria is an American film and television actor, best known for portraying Jacob Aguilar in the series East Los High.

Career

In 2007, Chavarria made his acting debut with the drama film Freedom Writers playing a small role of Tito along with Hilary Swank.[1][2] The film was directed by Richard LaGravenese and released on January 5, 2007 by Paramount Pictures.[3]

In 2011, he played another small role in the film A Better Life.[1]

Chavarria has played the lead role of Jacob Aguilar on the Hulu series East Los High since its premiere on June 3, 2013.[4]

He will play Danny, a significant role in the upcoming drama film, Lowriders.[5]

Chavarria will next appear as a lead actor in the film War for the Planet of the Apes.[6] He has also joined the Hunter Killer to play a Navy SEAL aboard the American sub-marine.[7]
