Four ships of the French Navy have been named in honour of Armand-Jean du Plessis, Cardinal and Duc de Richelieu, considered to be one of the founders of the French Navy.

• Richelieu (1939), a fast battleship.^[1]
• Charles De Gaulle, a nuclear aircraft carrier was originally named Richelieu.^[1][2]
• The projected new French aircraft carrier, if built, may be named Richelieu.^[3]
