Frank Chamizo Marquez (born 10 July 1992) is a Cuban naturalized Italian freestyle wrestler. He is an Olympic bronze medalist and World and European Champion.

Career

He won a bronze medal at the 2010 World Wrestling Championships and gold medal at the 2011 Wrestling World Cup for Cuba. For failing to make weight, he was disqualified for two years in 2011. In 2013, he began representing Italy. Chamizo won a silver medal in wrestling at the 2015 European Games for Men's freestyle in 65 kilograms range. Later that year he won the gold medal at the 2015 World Wrestling Championships. He was ranked number 1 on the world rankings for 65 kg in April 2015 (UWW).[1] The next year he won gold at the 2016 European Wrestling Championships. At the 2016 Rio Olympics, he won bronze in the men's freestyle 65 kg.
