Fox Life is a television channel, launched by Fox International Channels Benelux, which airs across the Netherlands and initially in Flanders (Belgium) as well. It's also available in HD. Its basic programming include numerous television series and sitcoms. It launched on 7 September 2009. The channel also has versions in other countries around Europe. Fox International Channels Benelux announced that Fox Life will close in the Netherlands on 31 December 2016.[1]

Flemish Version

As of 22 November 2011 Fox had to change the programming for Fox Life in Flanders due to television right issues in Belgium. From then on a separate Flemish version was airing in Belgium. The provider of satellite television in the Netherlands, CanalDigitaal, had to replace Fox Life by the Flemish version as well because it shares the Fox Life feed with the Belgian provider of satellite television, TV Vlaanderen Digitaal.[2] From 22 September Fox Life has been replaced by 24Kitchen for satellite viewers in the Netherlands. The Flemish Fox Life was rebranded as Fox and is only available for Telenet subscribers.[3]
