Florentijn Hofman (16 April 1977) is a Dutch artist. He is known for playful urban installations[1] such as the Rubber Duck,[2] and the 2014 installation in London UK, the HippopoThames.[3]

Florentijn Hofman was born on 16 April 1977 in Delfzijl in the Netherlands. He went to primary and secondary school in Emmen. He studied arts at the art academy of Kampen and later Berlin.[4]
