Flight Centre UK is the British arm of the Flight Centre. Headquartered in New Malden in Surrey, Flight Centre UK has a portfolio including eight leisure and corporate travel brands and over 80 Flight Centre stores across the UK.

Following the opening of Flight Centre Australia in Sydney in 1981, Flight Centre co-founder Graham ‘Skroo’ Turner opened a Flight Centre store in the UK in 1995. By 1997 Flight Centre expanded to 10 shops in the UK with 20 staff.

In 2015 Flight Centre had over 80 leisure stores, many of which included the same hyperstore style design that originated in Australia.

In 2007 Chris Galanty[1] took on his role as Managing Director of the Flight Centre Group UK, and in 2009 was appointed Executive General Manager of Flight Centre South Africa.[2]
