Fittja.

Fittja is a part of Botkyrka Municipality and the name of the Stockholm metro station in the area. It was settled during the 1970s and consists mostly of rental apartments. As of 2008, there were 7,458 people living in Fittja; 64.7% of them were of non-Swedish origin, of which 25.1% non-Swedish citizen.[1]

Fittja mosque

The Fittja Mosque is a mosque in Turkish style architecture.[2] Building started in 1998[3] and finished in 2007.[2] The mosque is owned by the local Turkish Islamic Association, which has about 1500 members. The minaret is 32.5 meter high, and it is the highest minaret in Europe.[3] The mosque in Fier, Albania is higher still, at 51 metres.[4]

Fittja metro station

Fittja metro station is a station on the red line of the Stockholm metro. The station was opened in 1972. The distance to Slussen is 17.5 km.
