Ferry Beach State Park is a state-operated, public recreation area in Saco, York County, Maine.[4] The park occupies 117 acres (47 ha) on Saco Bay north of the mouth of the Saco River. The park includes sandy Atlantic Ocean beaches, inland hiking trails and a nature center.[5] The inland portion of the park is noted for its pocket swamp and tupelo trees found at the northern limit of the species's range.[6]
