Salvador Fernando Miguel Karadima Fariña (born August 6, 1930) is a Catholic pedophile priest in Chile. He was an important religious figure for many in the high clergy, he was accused in 2011 by the Vatican of "sexually abusing minors" and abuse of ecclesiastical power.

In 2010 the existence of a number of complaints against him for the sexual abuse of his young male apprentices came to light.[1] After an investigation by the Vatican, Fernando Karadima was convicted on January 16, 2011. He was ordered to retire.[2]
