Ferdinand Joubert

Jean Ferdinand Joubert de la Ferté (1810–1884)[1] was a French engraver, photographer and inventor who developed new photographic techniques and engraved notable postage and revenue stamps of the United Kingdom and the Confederate States. He was also the engraver of the Halfpenny Yellow, the first postage stamp of Malta.[2]
