Farah LeeAllen Fath (born May 1, 1984)[1] is an American actress. She portrayed Gigi Morasco on the ABC Daytime soap opera One Life to Live October 24, 2007 to January 12, 2012, with the reveal that her character was alive in December 2011. She played Mimi Lockhart from 1999 to 2007 on the NBC soap opera Days of Our Lives.

Early life and career

Farah Fath was born in Lexington, Kentucky to Lisa and Greg Fath. She has a younger sister, Victoria "Tori" Fath.[2] She began her career in show business at the age of five, and was voted Miss Kentucky Preteen in 1995.[1] She appeared in print campaigns for Duncan Hines and in a national commercial for Pringles potato chips.[1]

Television

Fath joined Days of Our Lives in September 1999 as Belle Black's best friend Mimi Lockhart. She left the show in February 2007, along with onscreen mother Judi Evans.[3]

Fath debuted in the contract role of Gigi Morasco on the ABC soap opera One Life to Live on October 24, 2007.[4] Farah left One Life to Live in June 2011. However, she returned shortly thereafter. Rumors began to circulate that Farah will return to Days as Mimi in January 2012 when OLTL's last television episode is aired.

On October 10, 2011, Fath returned to OLTL this time as her sister, Stacy, who has plastic surgery to look like her (Gigi). It turned out, though, that in an incident that supposedly left Gigi dead back in June 2011, it was Stacy who perished, leaving Gigi very much alive.

On September 25, 2011, Fath will star on Dirty Soap with many soap opera alumni including her boyfriend, John-Paul Lavoisier.[5]

In May 2015, it was announced that Fath will work with Days of Our Lives alum Alison Sweeney on the second installment of Murder She Baked for Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.[6]

Personal life

Fath had dated One Life to Live costar John-Paul Lavoisier, who plays Rex Balsom, from 2008 to 2013.[7][8] Soap Opera Digest exclusively revealed that Fath is engaged to boyfriend of two years, Phil Galfond, in November 2014.[9] Fath and Galfond married on May 15, 2015.[6]

She was once the letter "Y" in "Kentucky" at a University of Kentucky Men's Basketball game, a crowning achievement in the life of any Wildcats fan.[10]
