Far Bright Star is an upcoming American Western film directed by Casey Affleck, based on the novel of the same name by Robert Olmstead.
Plot
Set in 1916, it tells the story of an aging cavalryman who is leading a ragtag group of young men on a hunt for the legendary Mexican revolutionary Pancho Villa. When the group is attacked and most of his charges are killed, the man is left struggling for survival in the desert.
