Fairford Town F.C. is a football club based in Fairford, Gloucestershire in England. The club was established in 1891 and joined the Hellenic League Division One in 1970. They are currently members of the Hellenic League Division One West. The club is affiliated to the Gloucestershire County FA.

History

Fairford Town F.C. was formed in 1891 and started in the Cirencester & District League.[1]

After the second world war the club joined the Swindon & District League, winning the Premier Division twice in 1964/65 and 1968/69.[1] Following success in the Swindon & District League the club joined the Hellenic League in 1970. The 1971/72 season. The club won the First Division and were promoted to the Premier Division. However the club was relegated back to Division One in 1973/74.

Two seasons later they were promoted back to the Premier Division. They stayed in the Premier Division, finishing runners-up on three occasions, but were relegated to Division One West in 2012.[2]

They have reached the First Round Qualifying of the FA Cup four times (2004–05, 2005–06, 2006–07 and 2008–09).[2]
