FIFA Online was a free-to-play massively multiplayer online (MMO) football/soccer game announced in early January 2010, released on May 26, and closed on March 25, 2011.

Gameplay

FIFA Online uses the FIFA 10 game engine and its in-match gameplay is very similar to FIFA 10's. Its two main forms of control are mouse and keyboard, but it is also possible to use a gamepad if the player desires. After starting the game players make a manager, choose their league team and improve it by earning in game currency in different modes and using it in the Game Store. Also, after each ten matches, players are rewarded randomly with a player contract item which allows a player to be signed for a certain amount of money, or a stats boost that can be equipped on players. Players also have manager levels which increase with the XP gained after every match. The difficulty has 20 levels, and adjusts to fit the player's skill level.

There are four gameplay modes: League, Versus, World Cup, and Tournament.
