Reviews

Lyn McCredden in the Sydney Review of Books found the novel to be something of a modern re-working of the author's earlier novel Cloudstreet but with "less loveliness".[1] Michael Williams in The Guardian considered it a "superb novel", a tale about people "trying to work out how to be good to one another".[2]
