Etxebarri is a station of the Line 1 and Line 2 of Metro Bilbao. It is the southeastern terminus of line 1. The station before is Bolueta, while the station after, and terminus station of both lines, is Ariz. Etxebarri station is located in the municipality of Etxebarri, in the Greater Bilbao area. It was the terminus station for both lines until Ariz station was opened in 2011.[1] It can be accessed from Fuenlabrada Street and has a park and ride parking. Its fare zone is B0 and it is an at-grade station at open air.

Services

Metro services

The station is served by the line 1 to Bidezabal and Plentzia, being this station its terminus; and also the line 2 from Basauri to Santurtzi. Passengers willing to interchange from one line to the other may do so in this station or in any other until San Inazio.

In the future, the station will also serve the line 5 to the Hospital of Galdakao, being this one the terminus.

Bus services

The bus services are run by EtxebarriBus, with two lines; line 1 connecting the metro station with the neighborhood of Santamarina with a frequency of ten minutes and the line 2 connecting the same station with the Euskotren station and the neighborhood of Poligono, and a frequency of 30 minutes.[2]
