Greg McKeown

Greg McKeown (born in London, England, in 1977) is a public speaker,[1] leadership and business consultant,[2] and an author.[3][4] He is the founder and CEO of THIS, Inc., a leadership and strategy design agency based in Silicon Valley.[5] In 2012, The World Economic Forum inducted McKeown into the Forum of Young Global Leaders.[6]

His most recent project, Essentialism: The Disciplined Pursuit of Less,[7] (Crown Business, April 2014),[8] is a business and self-help book that discusses how to lead a more meaningful and successful life.[9][10]

McKeown earned an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business[11] after studying communications and journalism at Brigham Young University.[12]

Originally from England, he is now an American citizen, living in Menlo Park, California. Prior to founding THIS, Inc., Greg worked for Heidrick & Struggles' Global Leadership Practice.[13]

Greg McKeown is the author of Essentialism: The Disciplined Pursuit of Less,[14] and co-author (with Liz Wiseman) of the Multipliers: How the Best Leaders Make Everyone Smarter.[15] He is also a blogger for the Harvard Business Review[16] and LinkedIn’s Influencers Group.[17][18]

Public Speaker

Greg Mckeown speaks on how to live and lead as an Essentialist.[19] In 2014, McKeown interviewed Al Gore at the Annual Conference of the World Economic Forum[20] in Davos, Switzerland, and received an invitation from the Crown Prince of Norway, Haakon, to speak at his Annual Innovation Conference.[21]

McKeown has been interviewed on television and radio shows including NPR's All Things Considered[22] and NBC.[23]
