The marbled ringlet (Erebia montana) is a member of the Satyrinae subfamily of Nymphalidae. It is a high mountain butterfly found in the Alps and Apennines.

Habitat. Montane Festuca grassland. Headwaters of the Moesa in Val Vignun, Switzerland
