El precio de la fama (English title: The price of fame) is a Mexican telenovela produced by Ernesto Alonso for Televisa in 1987. [1]
Sonia Infante and Sergio Goyri starred as protagonists, while José Alonso starred as main antagonist.
Plot
Lucrecía is a famous and successful actress of telenovelas, but has reached the pinnacle of success using men. In his youth, Lucrecia had an unmarried daughter and not to tarnish his image and expose the scandal, he gave it to his spinster sister Agnes to make her pass as his. Already a long time, Lucrecia get close to his "niece" Sonia, but the girl is only interested in what material it can give.
