Egattur is a village in Kanchipuram district of Tamil Nadu, located on the southern outskirts of Chennai, India. It is a suburban area near the SIPCOT IT Park, Siruseri. The Mohammad Sathak A.J. College of Engineering is located in this region.

The "Navaloor Enclave" Approved layout in Egattur near Mohmed Sathaq College is near to Seruseri IT Park the land owners are objecting for any possible acquisition by SIPCOT. The Land Price is as high as 14Crore per acre and Government cannot offered provide with such high Compensation for the land owners. Some Land owners already taken a stay against this process. Lately known that by mistake Land Surveyors have included these approved piece of lands.
