East Cork

East Cork lies in south-west Ireland in Ireland's largest county, County Cork. Cobh, Midleton and Youghal are the main towns of East Cork.

East Cork contains the world's second largest natural harbour Cork Harbour, which is also home to the world's oldest yacht club. St. Colman’s Cathedral is situated in the area also, being an excellent example of a 19th-century Gothic revival and home to the largest Carillon (49-bells) in Ireland.

The famous Fota Island House and Gardens can be found in East Cork.

The Fota Island Golf Course hosted Murphy's Irish Open golf tournament in 2001.

East Cork has a long picturesque coastline stretching from Cobh to Youghal.
