DreamWorks Super Star Kartz is a kart racing game based on DreamWorks Animation's Shrek, Madagascar, Monsters vs. Aliens, and How to Train Your Dragon.[1] It was released on November 15, 2011.[2] For the Wii, the game uses the Wii Wheel. It was the final DreamWorks Animation game to be published by Activision.

Development

High Impact Games was originally going to do a reboot of Crash Team Racing for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii, but the game was cancelled by Activision before the initial prototype. Several ideas for the game eventually made it into this game.[3]

Predecessor

The game's predecessor titled Madagascar Kartz was released in October 2009.
