Douglas Bridge

Douglas Bridge is a small village near Strabane in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. In the 2001 Census it had a population of 81 people. It lies within the Strabane District Council area.^[1]

The name comes from Irish Dúglas, meaning "black stream" and the English bridge. Douglas is the townland in which the village lies. The modern Irish name is Droichead na Dúghlaise.^[2]
