Dona Mason

Dona Mason is an African American woman country musician, best known for being the last African American woman to place on Billboard's Country chart in 1987, until that record was broken by Rissi Palmer.[1] In 1987, Mason performed as a vocalist on Danny Davis's cover of “Green Eyes (Cryin’ Those Blue Tears)”, which peaked on Billboard’s Hot Country chart at #62 in 1987.[2]
