Dinocyon is an extinct genus of ursid carnivore of the Miocene epoch, endemic to Europe living from around 20.3—5.3 Ma, existing for approximately 15 million years.

Taxonomy

Dinocyon It was named by Jourdan (1861). It was assigned to Ursidae by Carroll (1988).[1]
