Dimili (Template:దిమిలి) is village in Rambilli mandal of Visakhapatnam district, Andhra Pradesh, India, nearly 60 km from Visakhapatnam city. It is situated near Teruvupalli, Kattubolu and five other villages and hamlets. So many people were in limelight and a few Freedom Fighters who were awarded Tamra Patra. Among them Pappala Bapu Naidu, Nagireddi Satyanarayana served as MLA of Yellamanchili Assembly Constituency popularizing the village name. Nagireddi Potharaju as Village Headman (known as Village Munciff) was recognized as best village administrator, who stood first among the village officers of the Visakhapatnam Dist. These people also made all-out efforts to nurture cultural and social activities in the village by creating fraternity among the diverse communities of the village irrespective of their political affiliations or ideologies. Dr.B.V. Parameswara Rao (Founder of Bhagavatula Charitable Trust) has been the most outstanding person, who inspired the village to build High School, Hospital, improving Water Tanks, Roads etc., by extending people participation like Shramadaan, money contribution. The contribution of learned persons in the village, to name a few, Nagireddi Narayana Murthy, Pappala Suryanarayana, Janapareddi Suryanarayana, Dodda Adinarayana, Janapala Sivannarayana was also notable. Sri Ch. Narasimha Sastry, an outstanding head master of High School,worked from 1982 June to 1988 October. He brought many good reforms both in academics and administration.

s In recent times well known persons are Pappala Chalapathirao (served as MLA and MP), Nagireddi Prabhakara Rao (represented as Panchayat Surpanch) and so on. One artist Ch. Sanjeeva Rao by his comical singing and acting became very popular in the State of AP as well in Orissa West Bengal. By fragile and tall looks he was named as 'Dimili Podugu Manishi'. His works are released by HMV (Saregama) and also found on internet Youtube. The style he introduced his creativity were adopted by many present day comedy artistes and folk singers.
