Diljaan is an Indian singer. Diljaan qualified for the Pakistani and Indian reality show Sur Kshetra, becoming one of the best runner ups since. Diljaan is now known worldwide due to his great voice, and creating history by making the Legend Asha Bhosle cry.
Personal life
Diljaan was born into a middle-class family of Jalandhar, Punjab, India. He trained with Ustad Puran Shahkoti who is the father of Master Saleem. He also took part in a Music Reality Show "awaaz Punjab di" in Punjab.
Career
Diljaan belongs to the tradition of patiala gharana. He first learned music from his teacher Madhar Kartarvi. He wanted to be a singer from childhood. He was a contestant on Pakistani and Indian reality show Sur Kshetra on Colors and Sahara One. He was overall runner-up and a Winner for India. He made a great impact on the judges by singing Punjabi songs.
He has produced two music albums of religious songs in Punjabi.
