Dendrotriton rabbi (common name: Guatemalan bromeliad salamander) is a species of salamander in the family Plethodontidae.[2] It is endemic to Guatemala where it is known from the Montañas de Cuilco, near the Mexican border. Its range might extend to Mexico. Its natural habitat is forest at the subtropical-temperate forest transition zone. It occurs in bromeliads or under bark on tree stumps and logs. This species is threatened by habitat loss (forest clearance).[1]
