Deiyai Regency is one of the regencies (kabupaten) in Papua province of Indonesia; it was formed in 2008 from part of Paniai Regency. The new regency covers an area of 537.39 km2, and had a population of 62,119 at the 2010 Census;[1] the latest official estimate (as at January 2014) is 76,436. The administrative centre is at Tigi.
