Deflection yoke

A deflection yoke, is a kind of magnetic lens, used in cathode ray tubes that are used to process the electron beam by deflecting it vertically and horizontally.

In a CRT television, the electron beam very fast moved (scanned) on the screen in certain pattern vertical and horizontal direction in certain speed (frequency), so that, the video image could be produced throughout the screen, according to the signal of dissected image .
