Dedy Dahlan

Dedy Dahlan (born June 19, 1979) is an Indonesian author,^[1] coach, trainer, and entrepreneur. He has written four non- fiction books, all of which in the Self Help and Self Development genre. He's popular for his laid back, easy to understand, applicative, with comedic writing style, and visually creative layout designs in his books. In Indonesia, he is known as the Passion Coach, a coach, motivational speaker, and soft skill trainer with funny and relaxed delivery style.

Career

As author

Dedy Dahlan's first published book is Start Young, published by Grasindo (PT. Gramedia Widiasarana Indonesia). All his book afterwards, ("Passion! - Ubah Hobi Jadi Duit",^[2] "Lakukan Dengan Hati^[3]", and "Ini Cara Gue^[4]") are all published by PT. Elex Media Komputindo,^[5] still a part of Kompas Gramedia Group.

Mostly writes self-help and self-development books, especially on passion, career, and entrepreneurship, he develop his own unique writing style, combining comedy, theory, and practical applications in a visually creative books.

As coach and trainer

A Certified Coach Practitioner (CCP) of International Coach Federation (ICF), he specialized himself in Passion and Career Coaching. He's also a certified practitioner in MBTI (Myers Briggs Type Indicator) and SII (Strong Interest Inventory) by CPP Asia Pacific.^[6]

As a trainer and speaker, he mixes his skill and delivery method of stand up comedy in his training and motivational speaking sessions, creating his own unique fun and highly interactive sessions.
